- 1/4 c soy sauce
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tsp sesame oil, 2 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flake
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small onion
- 2 cups brown rice
- 4 Persian cucumbers – they are just tiny cucumbers
- 1 Egg
Beef Cooking Directions: Dice onions and add to pay with beef and add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 3 min or until meat is brown and onions are translucent. Add sauce (mix soy, brown sugar, gochujang, sesame oil, red pepper flake).
“Quickeled Cucumbers”: dress with rice wine vinegar, avocado oil, sprinkle salt and sugar and red pepper flake and let sit for 3-5 minutes.
Make Brown rice per directions on box (we always buy instant brown rice). Place scoop of rice on plate, layer over the beef, Fry egg and layer on top. Serve with a scoop of Kimchee and the cucumbers on the side!
